    As a provisional licence hold you can’t get insurance. You must have a full licence before you can get coverage.
    Assuming you are in the UK do the Passplus exam after you get your licence, it could get your premium by about 25%.
    Ask a parent or guardian to be a named driver and it can bring it down again.
